New Protocol and Procedures

New Policy and Procedure Updates at Cupertino Facial Esthetics

Due to the recent events, our practice has taken extra precaution to ensure your health and safety. During the time that we were closed, we have implemented new policies and procedures that are in place for the safety of each patient that comes into our office as well as the team at Cupertino Facial Esthetics.

Please thoroughly read our new policy to ensure a smooth experience in our practice.

Consultations:

For new or established patients, all consultations will be done virtually. The first step to making an appointment is to schedule a $50 virtual consultation where we will assess your needs, your goals, and create a custom treatment plan for you. The amount charged for the consultation can be applied toward you treatment should you decide to move forward.

For the time being, our virtual consultations are implemented to allow us to assess the face without any PPE (mask), as is required to be worn when in the office.

Once you and one of our providers have outlined your tentative treatment plan, we will schedule you an appointment for treatment.

Following the consultation:

Once you are on the calendar for an appointment, you will receive an email with documents that will need to be read, filled out, and returned back to our office at least 24-48 hours prior to your appointment.

In your appointment documents you will find a questionnaire, consent forms, new patient forms (for new patients), credit card authorization to secure a contactless check-out, as well as how to prepare for your upcoming appointment.

Once the documents are returned to our office, you will receive a confirmation email or text, confirming that your upcoming appointment registration is complete.

New Patients:

All new patients who schedule a treatment appointment will be scheduled a Good Faith Exam with one of our Nurse Practitioners, which will be done virtually from home to give medical clearance for the procedure you will be coming in for. This will be scheduled with you prior to coming in for your actual treatment.

Day of your appointment:

Please arrive to your appointment at least 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled time.

Please bring with you a mask that will cover the nose and mouth. If you do not have a mask, please let us know ahead of time and we will provide one for you.

Upon arrival to your appointment, you are asked to wait in your car and send us a text letting us know that you have arrived. Once we have cleaned the office, the space, and have cleared all patients from the waiting area, one of our team members will take your temperature (contactless), and escort you to your treatment room.

You will be asked to set all belongings including cell phones and purses on the counter and to immediately wash your hands.

We ask that you are the only person at your appointment. While we normally love having guests, at this time, no friends, visitors, family, kids, or pets are allowed to appointments.

The check-out process will take place in the treatment room, where one of our team members will confirm the treatments done, and do a contact-less check out since we will have your credit card authorization form on file. Once all is confirmed, you will be charged, checked out, emailed a receipt, and any follow up treatments will be scheduled.

We appreciate your understanding during this time. While we hope that this level of precaution may not need to be in place long-term, for the time being, your health is important to us and we will under-go any and all protective procedures to keep you safe in our practice.
